It's been busy in the Studio these last few months. It's also been absolutely freezing which makes drying time a challenge. However now the Spring is springing we are finally able to annoy the framer and get things moving again.
There have been 3 Art Fairs for us in January and February; 2 in London and 1 in Palm Beach and work is currently being famed for Fresh Art Fair in Cheltenham in April.
Paul is delighted to be asked to do a solo show at Thompson's Gallery in London this June. It will be figurative and predominantly 'Heads'.
In our new section on this website you can see some of the work coming through the studio - as you can see it is mostly figurative. This is an area we are really deep diving into this year. A deeper development from 2024. Looking into 'what it is to be Human'. Exploring it through literature, philosophy, technology, politics and, of course, visually. In an ever increasingly polarised global society and, with a dizzying rate of development in Science and Technology unfolding around us it's the right time for artist's to do what they do best - tell stories, reflect our world and keep us looking in the mirror. More of that next time.

A new collection of paintings commissioned by Thompson's Gallery as part of the 150th Celebrations for Sir winston Churchil can be found in London's Marylebone district. In partnership with the Hyatt Churchill Paul's collection are avilable to view and purchase in their main hall. Open and free to all. This is part of a wider celebration at the hotel with a 1940's Sunday Brunch with live music and a speically curated menu in the Winter Terrace , inspired by Churchill's favourites amongst other things.
Going West to the beautiful Spa Town of Cheltenham on the edge of the Cotswolds, the Paragon Gallery has a stunning collection of Florals, The perfect antidote to the shortening days and gloomy November skies. Ellie is happy to organise a home viewing wherever practicable if you are not based nearby.
3 - 8 December

Meanwhile Stateside, Quantum Contemporary will be hosting a solo exhibition of Paul's work at this year's Art Miami 3- 8 December. All the paintings were created this year and really reflect a shift in Paul's work. We have a catalogue, a full interview and discussion is included and that can be posted on request and the work can be viewed online via the link below. Jeni Weinberger, from our studio, will be there 4-8th December for any studio questions you have always wanted to ask.
